About Us

Helping Hands is Singapore’s open community noticeboard. It brings government schemes, charity programmes and neighbourhood initiatives into one place, so finding help doesn’t depend on already knowing who to ask or what a scheme is called.

A lot of the support that exists never shows up in a search: a volunteer-run WhatsApp group, a student club’s weekly programme, a food bank run from a community space. Helping Hands lets anyone running something good share it, and lets anyone who needs help, or wants to give it, find it. We check posts and remove ones that break the rules, and we say clearly who is behind each one.

To make government, charity and community support easy to find in plain language, in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil, and to give community groups a simple, trustworthy way to be found by the people they want to reach.
