Assurance Package – Cash Payout

The Assurance Package was set up to help Singaporeans, especially lower- and middle-income households, absorb the 2023–2024 GST rate increase. Its cash component pays out once a year, with the amount set by assessable income and number of properties owned; those with lower income and only one property receive the most. The scheme's official "Disbursement Year" label runs one calendar year ahead of the actual payment date — "Disbursement Year 2027" is paid out in December 2026, which is the final tranche of the five-year package (2022–2026 calendar-year payments).
