Child LifeSG Credits (Budget 2026)
Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.
Announced in Budget 2026, the Child LifeSG Credits give families with a Singapore Citizen child aged 12 and below a one-off $500 credit per child to help with household costs such as groceries and utilities. It is a repeat of a similar $500-per-child credit first given out in 2025. No application is needed — the credit is assessed automatically and appears in the LifeSG app under the child's Child Development Account (CDA) trustee, usually a parent, for spending at merchants that accept PayNow or NETS QR payments.
