Home Caregiving Grant (HCG)

Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.

The Home Caregiving Grant (HCG) gives a monthly cash payout to help families cover the cost of caring for a senior or person with disabilities at home — for example, hiring a helper, paying for home care services or buying care items. The care recipient must be a Singapore Citizen (or a PR with an immediate Citizen family member), living in the community rather than a nursing home or similar institution, and permanently need help with at least 3 of 6 activities of daily living, assessed via a Functional Assessment Report or Client Assessment Form. Payouts are means-tested: $600/month if household income per person is $1,500 or less (or Annual Value ≤$21,000 with no income), $400/month for income of $1,501–$3,600, and $200/month for $3,601–$4,800 or for households owning multiple properties.
